Smidget's	Underworld

Save The Last Dance

Flashing lights circle the walls,
Sweat drips off the moving bodies,
And she stands off in a corner.

The bass runs through her heart,
She can feel the rhythm through her breath,
And her eyes glimpse him from across the room.

Butterflies swirl in her stomach,
Lack of oxygen makes her dizzy,
And her only wish is to be with him.

To feel their body move as one,
Their breath and soul as one,
And their life in twined forever.
