What would happen
If I locked myself in my room?
I would die of loneliness.
What would happen
If I screamed no?
It might have stopped.
What would happen
If I never knew right from wrong?
I would always be in trouble.
What would happen
If I fought back?
It would have hurt worse.
What would happen
If I just told someone the truth?
I would be in counseling.
What would happen
If I told my friend?
I would be the stupid one.
What would happen
If I told my boyfriend?
I would be the lonely one.
What would happen
If I just died?
Many people wonder about their past. I see it all over Facebook.
If you knew what the outcome would be everytime you did something
then it wouldn't make life unpredictable. God heals everything in
time, but you have to be patient. If you are going through a hard
time right now, reach out to those that are close to you, they love
you no matter what your situation is. Yeah, this poem shows the worst
of things but I have had friends in these situations and they bottle
everything up inside to the point that the only way they see out is to die.
If you are on the otherisde of that "if" and you see a friend or family member
suffering, take a second a reach out, people tend to talk if they notice
you even cared to pay attention.
